1999 Rules

Lineups:

• 22 players per team

  15 must meet active position requirements
  9 players will be on the bench each week

  15 active each week

  2 QB
  3 RB
  4 WR
  1 RB/WR/TE
  1 TE
  2 PK
  2 DT

• Every player will be pre-set to assigned playing position
  (that is, you can't use a TE to fill a WR position etc.)

Draft:

• Players will be picked by draft
• Owners order in draft will be by random draw
• Owners can trade draft positions before the draft
• Last pick in each round will get first pick in next round

Schedule:

• Double round robin schedule
• 8 teams in the league
• Each team plays each other team twice for first 14 weeks
• Week 15 - semi finals

  Best plays 4th best
  2nd best plays 3rd best
  5th - 8th, and 6th - 7th consolation matches

• Week 16 - Championship Game

  Semi-final winners play for Championship
  Other Week 15 winners play each other
  and losers in consolation games

• Week 17 - Consolation Matches

4 plays 8
as determined by week 15 and week 16 results

• Tie-breakers for positions:

  W-L-T record
  A Win is better than 2 Ties
  Most points accumulated
  Most points scored against

Payouts:

• Championship Game Winner - 8%
• Runner-up - 3%
• 1st after 14 weeks - 6%
• 2nd after 14 weeks - 5%
• 3rd after 14 weeks - 4%
• 4th after 14 weeks - 3%
• 5th after 14 weeks - 2%
• 6th after 14 weeks - 1%
• Each win (17 weeks, 4 winners each) - 1%

Lineup Setting:

• Active lineup deadline is 11am CT Sunday mornings
• Players in Thursday games must be specified by 11am CT (Thanksgiving) or 6pm CT for Thursday night games
• Players in Saturday games must be specified by 11am CT Saturday

Transactions:

• Roster changes (free pool) can be made during the season
• Only 2 such transaction can be made per week
• You can specify contingency choices ("if I don't get A, I'll take B")
• If you request 2 new players, you must specify which is first choice
• $10 (fantasy $s) fee per transaction
• A player may not be picked up in the same week he is dropped
• If same player is requested by multiple teams by 5pm Wednesday, conflict is resolved:

  First choice players go before second choice players
  Team with least transactions made to date
  Team lowest in standings
  Team with lowest total points scored in season
  Team first to request player

• Players requested after 5pm Wednesdays are taken as first come, first serve.

Scoring:

• QBs/RBs/WRs/TEs:

  1 point for every 20 passing yards
  1 point for every 10 rushing yards
  1 point for every 10 receiving yards
  (Negative yardage in any of the above categories scores 0 points)
  4 points for each TD pass thrown
  6 points for each TD scored
  1 point for 2-pt conversion pass thrown
  2 points for 2-pt conversion scored
  -2 points for Interception thrown

• PKs:

  1 point for each extra point kicked
  3 points for Field Goal 39 yards or shorter
  5 points for Field Goal 40-49 yards long
  7 points for Field Goal 50 yards or longer

• DTs:

  6 points for any defensive touchdown:

  Interception return
  Fumble return
  Kickoff return
  Punt return

  2 points for each interception
  2 points for each fumble recovery
  1 point for each sack

  Yardage allowed:

  Less than 49 = 18 points
  50-99 = 15 points
  100-149 = 12 points
  150-199 = 9 points
  200-249 = 6 points
  250-299 = 3 points

  Points Given Up:

  0-6 = 12 points
  7-13 = 9 points
  14-20 = 6 points
  21-27 = 3 points

Trades:

• Teams can trade players
• Position Requirements must be maintained
• Trade costs $10 (usually $5 each)
• Trade can be vetoed by 4 of other 6 owners
• Trades must be made by 6pm Thursday

Notes:

• Each team assigned $100 fantasy investment
• Meeting 10am CT Sunday, September 5th at Pioneer
• Computer Sports World statistics will be "official" source
• For each week's game, team getting most points gets Win
• A Tie is a Tie
• Team slots for round-robin schedule assigned randomly
• Be aware of NFL bye week in setting each week's lineup
